Syntax: +READ [[@<altname>] [<bboard name>] <messages>] If you specify no arguments, "+read" by itself simply displays the text of the first unread message in your mailbox. "+read" with a number after it displays the text of the numbered message from your mailbox. "+read" with a bulletin board name and a message number displays the numbered posting from the named bulletin board. You may also use any of the extended syntaxes described in HELP mail messages in place of <messages>. Example 1: +read (Displays the first unread message in your mailbox.) Example 2: +read 5 (Displays the contents of message 5 from your mailbox.) Example 3: +read public 1 (Displays the contents of the first post on the Public bulletin board.)
